Congratulations!  On making a savy business decision by purchasing Easy Trucking Software.

Once you get Easy Trucking Software you naturally want to get going with it as quickly as you can.  So, let’s outline the steps needed to start quickly with Easy Trucking Software

The first thing you need to do is once you start Easy Trucking Software is go to the licensing agreement page.  You need to click agree to get to the Main Menu.  If you don’t want to see this screen in the future, there is a option on the bottom of the agreement screen that asks if you want to see that screen again.  Just select No and you won’t be bothered by the licensing agreement screen again. 

That takes you to the Main Menu. 

Here you click on the Password and Set-up button which will take you to the password and setup screen. 

On the left side of the screen is  an area titled User Info. 

In order to personalize Easy Trucking Software you need to fill this in.  For example, filling this in the information will show up on fuel tax reports and invoices. 

Also, it is important  to fill in your IFTA tax ID number on the bottom.  This too will print on your IFTA reports.  Just to the right of that is the Password area and the password is found on your sales receipt so it is a good idea to write it down and keep it with your disc. 

In order to activate Easy Trucking Software from the free trial to the full version you must put in your password exactly as it appears on your sales receipt. 

Underneath the password area is the Truck Number area and Drivers Name. This is where you can quickly enter truck numbers and drivers names.  Be careful not to enter more than 5 if you have the owner operator version. 

On the bottom of that screen is a button that says screen size.  You can select from small, medium and large, depending on your computer screen resolution and what works best for you. 

There is a button on the top right that says Main Menu and that takes you back to the Main Menu and directly below that is a show license where you can select yes or no.  If you select no, the agreement will not show when you start us Easy Trucking Software.  When you get the password and setup screen filled in just click on the main menu button and that takes you back to the Easy Trucking Software main menu. 

What you do next is up to you, whether you want to use the Profit Per Mile or Fuel Manager.
