Finding things fast in Easy Trucking Software

Now you can find anything you want in Easy Trucking Software at Light Speed

Many times when using Easy Trucking Software you want to go back and check on a previous load. 

This can be rather tedious if you use the forward or back button in the trip entry screen. 

What if the load you are looking for is 50 - 100 loads back or what if the load was last year and you wanted to check on the price that you paid for that load. 

This information can help you run your business better and make you a smarter businessman and give you an edge over your competitors.  The easy way to do this is by using the list view screen in Easy Trucking Software .  To access the list view screen you go down to the toolbar beneath the trip entry screen, 4^th button from the left. 

When you click that button you will be greeted with a screen that shows all of your trips,  The easy way to find what you are looking for is to let’s take for example you picked up a load at Metric Inc. And it was a while back.  And you can't quite remember when you picked it up or where you took it to. 

Just scroll down the list view till you find a load for Metric Incl.  And just click on Metric Inc. And instantly Easy Trucking Software finds every load that you ever picked up at Metric Inc. 

From that point it’s very easy to pin point which load you wanted to look up.  And to get back to the trip entry screen for that load, just go to the very first column and click on the green box for that row. 

There are many features in the list view screen.  If you will look across the top you will see various buttons to the left of the column name. 

 For example there is a button to the left of date and truck number and trip number and load status and from and to and balance due.  What that button does when you click it is sorts your loads by that column. 

So if you want to find the most recent entries, just click on the date button and it will sort your loads by the most recent to the first one.  The same with truck number.  You can sort all you loads by truck number. 

This will work on any column.  Let’s say that you have all the Metric Inc. Loads on your screen and now you want to find all of the loads hauled by truck # 1001.   Just click on the find all button located at the top of the screen, scroll down the list until you find truck #1001.   Click on #1001 and Easy Trucking Software will instantly find all of the loads for truck #1001. 

When you are done looking at those loads, be sure to click the find all button again to show all of your trips,  If you don’t, only the trips for truck #1001 will show in the trip entry screen. 

Using this technique you can quickly and easily navigate through Easy Trucking Software and find exactly what you want at any time.
